Vinyasa Hatha

In Sanskrit Hatha is derived from ‘Ha’ which means sun and ‘tha’ which means moon this commonly translates to yoga that being union and balance ‘of the pair of opposites’

Vinyasa is derived from ‘nyasa’ which means to place and ‘vi’ which means ‘a special way’.

‘To place a special way’ is commonly translated as breath syncronised flow of movement.

Vinyasa Hatha yoga tries to achieve balance between mind and body through physical poses (asanas) with a synchronised flow of movement with the body and the breath from pose to pose, breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation.
