This hands-on course covers all aspects of basic 2D echocardiography required for bedside resuscitation decision making.


We guarantee small groups to maximise hands-on time.


The ultrasound diagnosis of the following conditions is discussed:

  3. BulletHypovolaemia

  4. BulletElevated CVP

  5. BulletSevere Sepsis / Septic Shock

  8. BulletCardiogenic Shock

  9. BulletCardiomyopathy and Valvular causes of Syncope.


Practice is on normal volunteers and cardiac patients


Faculty consists of emergency physicians, intensivists, cardiologist and cardiac physiologists.


This is a College of Emergency Medicine approved Level 2 Ultrasound course.


The next course will be on Friday 30th April 2010 in Basingstoke, England- the fifth since 2007.
