Benjamin Munford is listed as a police superintendent in charge of the County Police Station with command of the local force consisting of 16 constables at p. 508-511 of the Swaffham Entry in Kelly's Directory for Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk, in 1883.
The Rev George Munford was born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, c1794 and was was vicar of East Winch for a number of years. He was also an amateur botanist and local historian.
One Benjamin Munford is the earliest recorded licensee of the Public House owned by Bell Brewery at Caister on Sea in 1830.

The DUNTON cum DOUGHTON ARCHDEACON'S TRANSCRIPT of Burials records Samuel MUNFORD, aged 53 on 7 May 1799 and Sarah MUNFORD, widow buried on 6 Sept 1801. Whilst the list of Baptisms records the birth of their son Robert Munford on 5th Jan 1782 and their daughter Honor Munford in 1786.
