Adverse
Neural Tension

Adverse
Neural Tension is excessive nerve tightness or sticking, which can be caused
by disc bulge, spine changes, or scar tissue (David S. Butler). Andrew pays
particular attention to checking for and treatment of this condition. He has
found it is also involved in many lower or upper limb conditions, such as hamstring
strain (sciatic), or wrist pain (carpal tunnel syndrome).
Treatment often involves
exercises which the patient can do independantly, on a regular basis, to mobilise
and stretch the nerves involved.
