Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release involves using deep and strong pressure, with very slow or gradual movement through the soft tissue adhesions. Myofacial release work breaks down old scar tissue, reduces muscle tightness, and releases nerve trapping. This method can help change old movement patterns, and help with treatment of chronic injuries, which respond to treatment, but come back. Examples of this are: muscle tension in the neck and shoulders or lower back. Chinese Cupping or spooning have a similar effect, but can also bring blood back into an area which has become dry or stagnant, such as occurs with tennis elbow.
