JunoBEAR 2010

  • When: 12 – 14 June 2010
    10am - 6pm Saturday, 11am - 4:30pm Sunday
  • Where: Paddington RSL Club
  • Fees: $20

·         Organiser: Aaron Cleavin

This will be a two day 2 rounds per day tournament with a theme for each day.

·        Day 1 France 40 (70th Anniversary).

·        Day 2 Welcome (Back) to The Jungle.

On the public holiday Monday I will host a BBQ at my place in the afternoon, and if any one is game enough a scenario in the morning!

There will be a selection of 3 scenarios per round with each player picking a first and second preference. If only one selection overlaps
the choice is made. And if both selections match with a common first pick similarly. If selections match but 1st and 2nd preference is reversed
then players can agree on which to play OR the choice is randomized but the player whose 2nd preference is chosen gets balance.

The scenario list will be distributed by me by May 1st (PDF's available on request).

OCTOBear 2010 TOURNAMENT

This is The Club's very own event and a fun tournament.

  • When: 9-10 October 2010
  • Where: The Paddington-Woollahra RSL Club, 220-232 Oxford Street, PADDINGTON, SYDNEY
  • Fees: $20, plus membership of the RSL Club which is $5 per year

OCTOBear has struggled as an ASL tournament in the last few years, in part due to Australian ASL fanatic attendance atOktoberfest in the USA.
So it is likely that OCTOBear will be made into a more general gaming experience, either as a tournament or just as 2 days of gaming. Stay tuned for more details.
