God

Every religion has their own spin on what God is like.  What makes the Christian version the correct one?

All great religions, in order to escape absurdity, have to admit a dilution of agnosticism. It is only the savage, whether of the African bush or the American gospel tent, who pretends to know the will and intent of God exactly and completely.

Are all religions the same?  Do they all lead to the same God?

It's not unusual to hear someone claim that all religions essentially lead to the same ultimate end.  One thing is true, the majority of religions that claim to lead to God all try and figure out what God is like.

The process of identifying God is very subjective.  This is evident in the variety of interpretations throughout the religions of history.  Even Christianity seems to reveal its God as a bit schizophrenic.  Even though he is supposed to be the same throughout time we have many different faces of this God reported in the pages of the Bible.

To suggest that someone or some group has exclusive rights to the interpretation of God is highly dubious.
