Many of the extreme-white overos fall into a special subcategory, the elusive and legendary Medicine Hat Pinto. The Medicine hat has a "bonnet" over the ears and a chest "shield". These pintos were once believed by the Native Americans to have special magic powers to protect the rider from harm. Not all are overos, some tobianos (rarely), toveros and extreme sabinos may have the correct markings.
His sire is La Vista Rowdy Remark (Imp USA), great grandson of Rowdy, one of the most respected stallions in the miniature horse industry to date. This is one of the strongest bloodlines noted for producing overos today.
His dam is Meridians Desert Moon (Imp USA), a buckskin daughter of US National Champion Brewer's Moondust.
"ET" is 5th generation overo and has a chiselled masculine head, well-shaped muzzle, outstanding neck set and with more balance than you can imagine in such a small horse as well as having the bonus of being a dilute (imagine the beautiful dilute overos!).
