GEORGE WARRY (1797-1873)

George the third child of
He was to marry twice in
life, eight children by his first wife, but none by his second wife. After the death of his first wife in
George Warry’s
ancestry for several generations were ‘Blacksmiths’ but he became a
‘Millwright’ and then later a ‘Carpenter’. The carpenter trade/occupation may
have come about as he married the widow Mary Withey
nee Langdon whose husband was a ‘carpenter’ and it wasn’t till after this
marriage George was recorded as a ‘Carpenter’.
