My family history research into my
William Masters and Hannah Bartlett and then found his great grandparents Robert and Hannah Bartlett also buried at Stoford all was going well with my research ,the family had come from Crewkerne and were mainly bakers but there I run into a dead end. I found three children of Robert and Hannah Bartlett born Crewkerne 1775-1781 but none of the family earlier
It’s likely that there were about 4 other children born between 1765-1775 with Robert the oldest born about 1765
I was fortunate to find a surviving Estate Duty will at Somerset Record Office
at www.somerset.gov.uk/archives in
