Violet Tendencies
They lost me at 8 inches.
To be fair, this movie met all my expectations. But they weren't aimed that high. But you've got to have a little fun at the festival and I am a hopeless US sitcom fan so Mindy Cohn from The Facts of Life drew me in (and the hot guy with his hand on his heart in the MQFF Guide). From adolescence to middle-aged, not a lot has changed for Mindy. Although I'm sure no one could foretell that little Mindy would be the grown woman who lights up the screen with her prowess of prostate prodding and discussing her fat upper pussy area.
But sitcoms are sitcoms; they've got to churn out the story lines and gags. When I go to the pictures I do expect a little craftsmanship. The movie was a predictable laugh: "Do you want my eight inches?" "Why, are you going to fuck me twice?" Baboom tish. The characters had all the genuine love and connection of the gang in Two and a Half Men. And you know, when Meg Ryan can't get her man, I feel for her. In this film I was like Mindy, smarten yourself up.
But then, who am I to judge. She bloody well ended up with Mr Hotness the go go dancer.
