Research Notes: Wife - Emmeline CHAPMAN
There is some suggestion that Emma was actually the child of Edward Cory, and that the marriage to William Chapman was "cover". Emma lived with the Cory's, and returned to England with them.
When Edward Cory died, half his estate went to Emma and half to Louisa Cory.
She is listed in the 1901 Census.
