waterfront self-contained, peaceful, romantic hideaway.
Situated in the historic
The air conditioned cottage is
comfortable year round, facing east, cool and breezy in the summer and cozy in
the cooler months.
It is thoughtfully appointed with all
the things you need for a relaxing holiday, including queen bed, TV / VCR / CD
facilities, books, magazines, games, hairdryer, iron, kitchen, gas BBQ,
undercover parking and laundry.
There is a bay window with a seat as
well as a waterfront verandah located in an idyllic setting, 15 meters from the
edge of the lake, the interior is tastefully furnished, lined with natural
timber.
Leave the car undercover at the door and
stroll over to our close neighbour the Royal Motor Yacht Club which overlooks
the marina and enjoy a meal at the award-winning restaurant or discover the
many restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, historic railway station and
federation cottages in the township.
For those who prefer not to dine out,
enjoy your own home cooked meal prepared on the outdoor barbeque.
Relax at the bay window or waterfront
verandah, sip on a glass of wine and soak in the magnificent views, watch the
yacht races and passing boat traffic, stroll by the lake to see the bird and
marine life or simply leave the security door locked and listen to the gently
lapping waves from your bed at night.
The reflections of sunrises are
spectacular and on moonlight nights the waves roll by like scrolls of silver.
Novels, cards, magazines and scrabble
are available if you need something to do apart from relaxing.
When you are not messing about around the
waterfront, fishing from the lawn or simply enjoying the setting, catch a movie
at the local cinema, head for the ocean beaches within a half hour drive, tour
the Watagan mountains or visit the Hunter Valley wine country.
