Here are some of the promises which God has given to his people. God keeps his promises and we can rely on him!
Each verse is taken from the New International Version of the Bible with its book, chapter and verse reference.

Promise of eternal life "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

Promise of answered prayer Jesus said: "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24

Promise of forgiveness "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

Promise of a way out "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." 1 Corinthian 10:13

Promise of a Guide "For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end." Psalm 48:14

Promise of the Spirit's presence "The world cannot accept the Spirit of truth, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." John 14:17
