Michael Carpenter has been working in the Sydney music scene since 1987. He opened his first incarnation of his Stagefright Studios in Mascot in 1991. Apart from recording his own albums and being an active sideman for many bands and solo artists, Carpenter has also produced and recorded some 300 projects in the last 14 years. Whilst starting with analogue recording all those years ago, Carpenter has embraced the digital age. At the same time, he has amassed an impressive variety of guitars, basses, keyboards and drum kits. In combination with many of the new virtual instruments, and the years of experience that comes from making records, Carpenter strives to present the artist with a large palette of available sounds.
