The sophisticated album featuring emotional ballad driven tracks and up-tempo American-influenced beats will most likely be released later in the year pending the release of their next single in the UK.

Hey everyone! by JESSICA LIBERTY X on 3-Apr-04
Just wanted to apologise for not coming back on the board sooner - Ive actually found it impossible to get into the forum until now! Never mind, at least Ive finally done it! We're all on holiday at the mo which would be fab apart from the fact that I had really hoped to get some sunshine but as its the Easter break I couldnt find a single destination that wasnt booked up so it looks like its good old Blighty for me. Things have been fairly chilled for us since we got back from Asia - hope you all caught our diary on MTV by the way. We've recorded 'Fresh' for the Kool and the Gang tribute album, which will have lots of covers by some very exciting international artists, and we've also been discussing ideas for our third album. Michelle is now Hot Stars newest columnist, taking over from Kerry McFadden, so make sure you check that out in Ok magazine, and Ive also been asked to do some tv stuff which Im really looking forward to. We're going to be back in the summer with a new single, which we absolutely cant wait for so keep your eyes peeled as you havent heard the last of us! We miss you all and thankyou so much for your continued support xxx

Re: Hey everyone! by JESSICA LIBERTY X on 3-Apr-04
Hiya Im still here - thankyou for your lovely messages! Im not sure when we'll be back in the Netherlands but I know we definitely will be back so Im sure you'll get the chance to meet us - we have some amazing fans in Holland and we always have a great time out there. Also just to set the record straight about a recent newspaper article we WERE NOT dropped by Renault in any way shape or form - the deal was never intended to be any longer than a year so it just came to a natural end after 12 months and I went straight out and bought an Audi TT which is now my pride and joy!

Re: Hey everyone! by JESSICA LIBERTY X on 3-Apr-04
Bethan - Michelle and Andy are definitely still together and very happy - theyve just celebrated their 2 year anniversary in fact so dont worry! Jay - I have checked out your site, its great and Im extremely flattered! Bekki - Im not sure when we'll be back near Grinsby but we'll be doing all the Summer roadshows this year so Im sure we'll be playing near you soon.

Re: .:: Jess ::. by JESSICA LIBERTY X on 3-Apr-04
Katy - we'll probably be starting promo around May time I would guess, Robbie - Im not sure when exactly we'll come back to Northamptonshire but Im sure it wont be long as we'll probably be all over the place when we start promoting the next single. Also we'll be doing all the roadshows so hopefully there'll be one near you. By the way happy birthday for the 13th. And to everyone out there - we most definitely have NOT been dropped! Xxx

Happy Easter everyone! by JESSICA LIBERTY X on 11-Apr-04
Hope you all have a lovely long weekend and stuff your faces with loads of choccie eggs! Just to confirm we are doing Soccer 6 - Michelle and I are definitely playing all the dates for the girls and Im fairly sure Kev is doing all the dates for the boys - dont think Kelli or Tony are going to play but they may come down to cheer us on xxx

So, the single is out a week today AAAAAHHHHH!!!! I am really nervous but excited at the same time. Hope you're all gonna go out and buy it. The album is out soon too. Very excited about that cos we've taken ages and worked really hard on it. Can't wait to read all your comments... Let us know your fave tracks. Just wanna say a MASSIVE well done to Andy Scott-Lee for winning his heat in Pop Idol on Saturday. HOW GOOD WAS HE!?!

Busy week coming up for us. As I said we're pre-recording Diggit. Also pre-recording Trouble, and Des and Mel. Not sure when they're gonna be on so keep your eyes peeled. We'll be on TOTP Saturday this week too. In between all this we'll be going to Holland to do a gig and say hi to the Dutch fans!

For any older fans out there we'll be performing at G.A.Y. at London's Astoria on Saturday night. Phixx will be supporting us so it should be a good night. We'll probably be on really late (ie after 1am) so only come down if you're up for a late one.
Better go now. Thanks for all your messages. Oh and hope you like the new look of the website. Much luv, Kelli xx

Long time no speak guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by KELLI LIBERTY X on 26-Aug-03
Hello everyone. Sorry it's been so long since I've logged on. We've been quite busy in the studio recently making the new album (which by the way is sounding wicked!). I've also been really busy as I've been moving house so I've been getting into my DIY. I've painted the whole place top to bottom with my bear hands so I'm quite proud of myself. We've beeh cooped up in the studio a lot lately so we can't wait to get back on the road to see all yor lovely faces. As you probably know we have started promoting our new single "Jumpin" which we are hoping to release on the 3rd week of October. We filmed the video a week and a half ago. It's looking cool. It was really fun to film but harder work than any video we've done cos there was so much choreography to film. We filmed it at The Roundhouse in Camden and we had some of our mates come down to be extras. We also had the 3 mobile competition winners there so it was a right giggle. The video should hit the music channels at the beginning of next month so look out for it and don't forget to vote for it. Ok gotta go and do an interview. Might log on later. Much luv, Kelli xx

Hiya its Jessica here! by KELLI LIBERTY X on 30-Aug-03
Just wanted to give y'all a little update of whats been happening lately in the world of Liberty X. We've just shot the video for Jumpin, which is in post production as we speak & should be finished very soon. Its basically a performance based video, very dark and slick with some wicked effects & some really cool outfits. We were lucky enough to have the 10 winners of the 3 Mobile competition down at the Roundhouse with us & they were all true stars so big up to them. We've been really busy in the studio recording trax for the new album (any name suggestions gratefully received!) and hopefully we should have the finished product ready in the next couple of weeks - cant wait for you guys to hear it! We're also performing at a couple of roadshows this weekend and of course the Popworld parties are next week - really looking forward to seeing you guys there. I had some good news the other day - I've won Spectacle Wearer of the Year - how cool is that! Also I've been asked to present a MOBO award which I'm definitely going to do as long as we're in the country because it a real honour to be asked. It feels like we've been away for ages but dont worry we're back now and you should be seeing loads more of us very soon. Dont forget Jumpin is out on the 20th Oct and the album is out on 3rd Nov. Also to all our fans in France & Germany look out for us - we're heading your way over the next couple of months. Tonnes of love to all our loyal fans - we couldnt do this without you, you're the best xxx Jessica xxx

Liberty X is currently continuing writing their second album and slotting in promotional appearances during the UK summer. The Liberty X girls are also heading off to Spain later this month to make a fitness video/DVD. This is what www.popworld.com had to say about the upcoming release-

Sexy, everything about them's so sexy -
Want to look like one of those finely toned ladies from Liberty X? You too could soon own a fit bod like Kelli, Michelle or Jessica because the girls have been signed up to star in their own exercise video. The trio will film the dance-based workout in Spain later this month, while the DVD and video is set to hit the shops in October. No signs of the lads taking part, though. Perhaps they're buff enough already, or maybe they didn't fancy sweating it out in lyrca.

hello all- tony here. my password is finally working. yeaaaaaahhhhhhhhh! hope everyone is well and anyone that made the tour have some good memories of it. in studio at the moment doing the second album. going well so far. everyone keep a look out for our friend and label mate mr. billy crawford, (main tour support act), who is releasing his first single next week. It's called You Didn't Expect That. Big thanks for all the lovely birthday messages, went out with a big bunch of friends for dinner and had a really good night... though i did feel a bit ropey the next day! anyway I'm being pulled away to do some filming upstairs and then we're off to the capital awards... we're up for a few so fingers crossed! See you all soon! T x

Hi everyone its Jessica here! by KELLI LIBERTY X on 18-Apr-03
I'm using Kelli's password as mine still hasn't been set up yet! Just wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone on the message board who sent their love to Stuart and I after the incident in Trafalgar Sq. I was a little bit shaken up by it but we are both totally fine and we weren't hurt at all so don't worry. Big thanks aswell to all of you who came to see us on tour - we had such an amazing time, having our own tour was a dream realised for all of us and it was so brilliant to perform live every night infront of so many of our loyal fans, without whom we would not be here. Thankyou so much for your support, we really were touched by the response to the tour and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We're currently in the studio writing for the second album and we've already got some wicked tracks which I think you're gonna love. We've been writing with Mark Hill of the Artful Dodger, who was behind 'Born To Do It' by Craig David and in the next few weeks we're writing with Conor Reeves, Big Bruvas and So Solid, which should be ace. Kev, Michelle and I are doing Soccer 6 too, so if any of you can get down there it would be great to see you. Liberty Xtra is also on tomorrow at 11.55am, which is the same thing as the story so far, as I think it was previously advertised, so that should be cool, as we had a crew making a documentary following us on tour. Our next single should be out at the beginning of Sept and the new album should follow a couple of weeks later, so look out for them. To our fans in Holland, we'll see you at the Fox Kids Awards next weekend and to everyone in the UK - see you at the Summer roadshows soon. Thankyou guys again for everything, it means so much to us to have such wicked fans.Lots of love Jessica xxx

This is what kelli wrote on the Official Liberty X message board about their tour in the UK-

hellllloooo everyone by KELLI LIBERTY X on 6-Mar-03
Hey guys. Hope you are all good. Good to see so many positive comments about the tour. We were really nervous about it when we started so we're glad you like it. We are playing the Brighton Centre tonight which is cool cos it's one of the bigger venues(approx 4000 seater). It's our 6th date of the tour so we only have 19 to go after this!!!!! It's a lot of fun though. The best thing is getting to see all our fans in each city and also getting to go near our home towns so all our friends and families can get to come and see us perform too, which believe it or not doesn't happen very often! I saw someone on the message board asking for details about our arena tour. Well, I'll tell you what I know. We will be playing 11 arenas in the UK including Wembley, Cardiff, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham . The tour starts in February 2004. Tickets go on sale soon. Oh yeah, I don't know if you guys know but the release date for "Being Nobody" has changed. It's now the 17th of March instead of the 24th. Basically it's because the airplay has been so massive we thought it would be better to release it earlier! We really nervous as we always are with releases, but we know you guys will support us. Good news for everyone too. Our album has just gone double platinum this week. We can't actually believe it. We couldn't believe it when it went platinum before Christmas never mind double platinum!!! Also "Just A Little" has gone gold in France. WOO HOO!!! Apologies to fans who have waited outside tour venues after the gigs. We can't always come out to sign things. Sometimes it's because the security isn't equipped to deal with the amount of fans outside (eg Liverpool). Other times our tour manager tells us not to as he'd prefer us to stay in from the cold - it's important to protect our voices as we're singing the whole tour live, and then sometimes we are whizzed off straight after the show. We always WANT to come out and say hello though. Anyway, guess I'd better go. Thanks for supporting us as usual. Don't forget, we're coming to a town near you!!! Much luv Kelli xx

Congratulations to Liberty X who won an award at Thursdays Brit Awards Ceremony in the UK. Liberty X defeated- Atomic Kitten, Gareth Gates and Will Young- to take home Best British Single in 2002 for their international hit single 'Just A Little'. Well Done Liberty X.

Regional distributors, manufacturers and marketers, Zomba Records Australia have yet to confirm the next Australian releases by Liberty X. There most recent single, 'Got To Have Your Love' failed to attract major radio airplay and did not make it into the ARIA top 50 singles chart. Hopefully their next release- possible 'Holding On For You'- has better success both on the charts and radio airplay.

"....Hi guys. Good to hear all your comments on our new record "Being Nobody". Just to let you know the dancehall remix that I think they played on Radio 1 is not really like the radio edit so make sure you keep your ears to the ground. The video has just been completed and should be on your screens soon so keep your eyes peeled too. We're in Germany at the moment doing a webchat. I'm skiving. NEVER MIND!!!! Went on a wicked holiday afetr Christmas to Mexico with my best friend. Had far too much fun. Can't wait for this year it's all so exciting. CAN'T BELIVE WE'VE BEEN NOMINATED FOR 2 BRITS...HOW MAD IS THAT!?!?!?!?! Anyway, better go and do some work before the others kill me. Keep us posted with your opinions...especially on the new vid when it comes out. Much love, Kelli xx"

Following their chart topping success in Australia, Liberty X toured Australia in December 2002 to promote their debut album and the perform in the summer pop festival RUMBA with such acts as Bon Jovi, Pink, Sugababes and Shaggy.

Their 20-minute set involved the live performance of four songs, Just A Little, Wanting Me Tonight, Got To Have Your Love and Thinking It Over.

Liberty X also slotted in promotional work and TV appearances during the two-week national festival, performing live on cable music show, Channel [V] and an in-store performance and signing at HMV Pitt Street, Sydney City store.

This is what Kelli wrote about Liberty X's recent trip to Australia on the official message board at www.libertyx.co.uk on 22 December 2002--

"…we've been really busy (as usual). Came back from Auatralia last week where we were doing the Rumba festivals. We played gigs in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney. There were some wicked people on the bill including Pink, Shaggy, Bon Jovi, Natalie Imbruglia, Sugababes, Abs and Sophie Monk (who used to be in Bardot - the Australian popstars band). There was between 20 and 50,000 people at each gig and it was really hot in Brisbane and Sydney. The Australian fans were absolutely wicked and everyone knew all the words to "Just A Little" (it just went platinum out there). Michelle and Kev got stuck on a vertical drop rollercoaster when a storm struck in Brisbane. It was really funny, but quite dangerous too because the rollercoaster was 28 storeys of pure steel. They would have been fried if the lightning had struck it. It took the engineers about half an hour to get them out, and one of them got really mad with me because I was trying to videotape the whole thing. He he!!! What else have we been up to... oh yeah, we did the video for our next single. IT'S GONNA BE SOOOOOO COOOOOL!!!!! Not sure that I can tell you much about it though other than there's gonna be lots of special effects and I had big hair!!!! We're in the studio today recording a track which could possibly be on our next album. In fact it's the same studio that we recorded the next single in, so good things are happening here! We'll probably be here all day so we might log on later too if we're not too busy. At the moment the boys are upstairs doing lad stuff, Michelle is in the booth recording her part and Jess is trying furiously to log on to this message board but her password isn't working and she's getting really stressed out. She says hey though. We're going to Bosnia for the New Year to entertain the U.N. peace-keeping troops. I am quite looking forward to it. They are expecting a serious amount of snow. We should be getting to go up in the army helicopters and everything. That should be cool. For Christmas (or should I say X-mas?!?), I think we're all just chillin' and spending some time with our families. I hope you all have fab Crimbos and New Years. Stuff ya faces and be merry.
Here's to a fab year in Liberty X. Let's hope next year is just as good!!!!!
Much Love, Kelli xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

Liberty X's smash hit Just A Little was the #31 in the Australian ARIA 2002 End Of Year charts.

On 26 December 2002, Network Ten broadcasted an edited 2-hour version of the live music event Party In The Park from London. It showed Liberty X perform their popular single, Just A Little.
