The Uepi Experience - Best Photo's
In May of 2003, 18 members of the 'Out-West Divers' Scuba Diving club of Western Sydney holidayed on
Uepi Island Resort in the Solomon Islands. A week was too short on this tropical paradise, but I'm sure everybody had a good time! I think it is safe to say most of us will be back at some point.
This web-presentation has been created to show some good (and some not so good) photo's I took while there, both above and below the water. Where there are two photo's the same side by side, the second photo has been digitally enhanced to provide better colour and clarity. I don't claim any of these to be works of art, but there good enough for me for now.
What you will see below (when they all load) are 'thumb-nail' shots of bigger and fuller images. Click on any image to view the bigger image in its own window. Close that window to come back here. Whereas the thumbnails load much quicker and give a preview, the bigger images may take upwards of 30 seconds to load on slower connections. Once the larger images load they can be saved to your computer - see your Web-Browser Help file for more information about saving images.
The photos were taken by Me using a Canon S30 digital camera with an underwater WP-DC300 Canon Camera Housing.
