Lactation Consultant can work to prevent and

breastfeeding problems.

What is a
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant?
The letters IBCLC signify a health care provider who possesses the
necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to provide breastfeeding
assistance and skilled technical management of
breastfeeding problems. An International Board
Certified Lactation Consultant has passed an internationally recognised
exam and is required to update skills on a regular basis.

qualified, volunteer breastfeeding counsellors of the Australian Breastfeeding
