Visit to the Loftus Tramway Museum.

We will meet at Epping Station Concourse at 9.10 am to catch the 9.27 am train from platform 5 to Town Hall.  At Town Hall we change to platform 4 where we catch the 10.11 am train to Loftus.  This train is scheduled to arrive at Loftus at 10.50 am and there is a short 150 m walk to the Museum

This excellent site is the premium tram museum in Australia and houses a wide selection of Sydney’s bygone-era trams plus trams from Brisbane, Ballarat, Melbourne, Sans Francisco, Nagasaki, Berlin, Munich and Milan.  A guided tour of the collection will commence at 11.00 am and last about an hour.  At 12.15 pm a tram ride into to the National Park is available and this trip will last about an hour.

The site is well appointed and if the weather is fine picnic facilities are available for your cut lunch.  Pies, Sausage rolls and Tea and Coffee are available from the kiosk.

Entrance cost to the Museum is $12 per person and tram rides are free.

Train run every 30 minutes for Loftus and Sutherland back to the city
