This outing is a visit to the Camellia Gardens at Caringbah.

Meet at Epping Station to catch the 9.15 am train to Central arriving at 9.42 am. At Central transfer from Platform 4 to Platform 25. Catch the train that departs at 9.54 am and arrives at Caringbah at 10.36 am.

At Caringbah Station take the lift to street level and a short walk brings you to the bus stop in Hay Avenue. A route 978 bus will take us to Kareena Road and from here it is a short walk to the garden entrance.

Our visit is timed to give about one hour to walk around the site before lunch at the Camellia Gardens Café at 12.15 pm

Lunch is available from $15 and there are some more expensive dishes available from $22.

The return journey is via the 2.12 pm bus from Kareena Road to Caringbah Station. A train departs the Station at 2.23 pm and takes us to Central where we transfer to the Central Coast Service that departs at 3.15 pm and arrives at Epping at 3.40 pm
