Tour of Newcastle City

 

This is a full day tour of Newcastle and environs with lunch at the Heritage Customs House Hotel

Meet at the Concourse of Epping Station at 8.25 am to catch the 8.40 am train on platform 3 to Newcastle Interchange.  This train arrives at 10.51 am.  A short walk takes us to the Light rail that will then take us to Queens Wharf for the Tram conducted tour that commences at 11.15 am.  The cost of this 1 ¼ hour tour is $20 and highlight the changes that have been accomplished in the city in recent years.  The tram will drop us off at the Customs Hotel at 12.30 pm for lunch.  Lunch will be A La Carte from an extensive menu from about $18.  After lunch we can inspect the Customs House Hotel which has recently been refurbished to a very high standard.

The Newcastle Beach Light Rail Station is nearby for us to return to Newcastle Junction and then to Epping.
