Walking is recognised as one of the best ways to keep both
mentally and physically fit without hip pocket or body pain.
As social restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic
are eased it’s time to responsibly re-start this traditional Probus activity.

Toilet facilities are available at the Joneses ONLY, there are none on the walk. Following the walk, small
groups might like to have a coffee or lunch at the Joneses’ or nearby North
Rocks Shopping Centre, 5 minutes’ walk from the Joneses’
Following health authorities guidelines, numbers may be
restricted and social distancing must be observed.

registering. They will confirm your registration and notify you should weather
or other factors cause a change.
Every participant will be asked to complete a written
registration form where you certify you have not tested positive or been
exposed to COVID-19 or have any early symptoms of infection.
This activity provides two alternative loops, for the less
mobile it is a short ramble (approx 4km) along Hunts Creek on paved footpaths
and walkways, but the more adventuresome can break off and follow a bush
walking trail to the Balaka Falls at Carlingford
(total approx 7km), returning to Blackburn Ave by suburban streets.
Remember to bring water and snacks and dress appropriately
for the conditions on the day.
