Journey to Fort Scratchley

Meet at Epping Station before 8.30 am

Depart from Epping Station Platform 3 on the Newcastle Train that departs at 8.40 am and arrives at Newcastle Interchange at 10.51 am

At the interchange transfer to the Light Rail and proceed to Newcastle Beach. It is a walk of approximately 800 metres to Fort Scratchley.

The visit to the Fort, including the museum is free. We can also join an hour guided tour of the defence tunnels that starts at 11.30.

The cost of the tunnel tour is $10 and is payable on Monday 7th June

After the tour we will catch the light rail from Newcastle Beach to the Queens Wharf stop. A table will have been reserved at Scratchley's on the Wharf
