Visit to the Harold Park Tramshed

The outing on Monday 17th July is a visit to “The Harold Pak Tramshed” and is a Free Tour.

We will assemble at Epping Station on the Concourse at 9.15 a.m. and go to Platform 1 for the train at 9.30 a.m., arriving at Central Station at 9.55 a.m. on platform 14.

We will walk to the Central Station Light Rail terminal where a light rail tram will be leaving at about 10.12 a.m.

We will alight at Jubilee Park station Glebe at about 10.31 a.m. and walk a short distance to the Tramshed at Harold Park.

There are no stairs to negotiate and there is a lift and escalator access to the Tramshed itself.

This interesting venue has a wealth of shops, restaurants and a supermarket with stock not available at Coles or Woolworths. We should have about an hour and a half to have a coffee and look around before lunch.

Lunch is at 12.00 midday and has been booked at the Butcher/and the/Farmer restaurant for 20 persons and the menu covers a wide selection of starter and mains with various courses from $15 upwards, not including drinks.

We will return to the Jubilee Park Light Rail Station at 1.45 p.m. for the return trip to Central Station. There are frequent Trains from Central to Epping either via Chatswood or Strathfield.
