It
is the Venturers themselves, who design their own programs to suit
their own needs. Most of the exciting activities available to Venturers
can be used to gain their award badges.
The
ultimate Venturer award is the Queen's Scout Award. Employers can
look favourably on young people who have gained their Queen's Scout
Award because they have demonstrated their ability to achieve a
goal.
Venturers
are a group of young people your own age. They are friendly, enthusiastic
and welcoming to new members.
The
Montrose Venturer Unit is also a registered operator of the Duke
of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
