ANSWERS
- No! This is not normal. It can be fixed very simply by adjusting the rack so that the irons’ shafts are closer to the partition that stops them falling out. Please refer to instruction page. Our research has found that many people have been persisting with this problem for many years not realising the simple remedy.
- The R9 and SG9 fit bags 8 inches internal width and larger. The minimum size is only restricted by the width across the centre of the bag. The products will fit smaller bags, but the grips would be too cramped across the bottom of the bag.
- The R8 fits bags 7.25 inches” internal width and larger. They are often the best choice even for larger bags when you only use 3-iron through to sand wedge. The grips have more room across the bottom of the bag.
- It is very unlikely that a golf bag with the top divided into 14 compartments (or similar) would be suitable for any of our organizer racks. These bags may organize your clubs, but the separation of clubs only increases risk of club damage from the heads bashing together.
- The Kahma Soft Grip is designed to grip and separate varying shapes and sizes of iron heads. The heads wedge only slightly down into the soft uniquely shaped valleys.
- We are not aware of any existing conventional irons that do not fit the Kahma Soft Grip. The sloped design allows the soles of the irons to overlap. It will accommodate wider sole irons than the Kahma Rack (Caddyrack).
- The differences are numerous, but the main difference is the method to separate and support the heads of the irons. The Kahma Soft Grip does not require shaft contact with any part of the bag to hold the irons in place. The iron heads are actually gripped gently in all directions except removal and sit only partially down inside the top of Kahma Soft Grip. The iron heads are separated between thin partitions (fins) on the Kahma Racks and the irons rely on a bag partition contacting the shafts to prevent them from falling out when the bag is vertical (as in a motorized cart).
