| The Integrated Definition of Function method
0 (IDEF0) is used by SCC to map existing business processes and design new
ones. This type of process mapping focuses on tasks performed and reveals
details of inter and extra organisation interfaces. SCC convenes workshops
of subject matter experts and uses their input to develop process maps that
relate people, systems, legislation, rules and standards to the tasks that
result in the organisational products. SCC has successfully used this method
to identify flaws in existing processes, that were not apparent to the subject
