BALLYVOURNEY JIG SET

... otherwise known as the Baile Bhúirne Jig Set.

Newcastle Irish Set Dancers was introduced to this set by Trish McGrath and Paul Breen from the Newtown Irish Set Dancers at an Irish Set Dance workshop during the 2000 Fléadh na Locha (Festival of the Lakes). Other sources include Pat Murphy's "Toss the Feathers", Tom Quinn's "Irish Dancing" and Volume 7 of the video series "The Magic of Irish Set Dancing". The Brooks Academy, the Irish-American Lobby Education Foundation, Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann [Cooley-Keegan Branch of San Francisco] and Joe O'Hara have versions this set online.
