I am currently living in Dubbo and studying a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology at Charles Sturt University.

I am a Secondary Maths Teacher for the NSW Dept of Education. I studied a Bachelor of Education-Secondary Maths at CSU-Mitchell from 1989 to 1992.

Where I have Lived

The places I have lived around NSW have been very interesting, as each of them had something different to offer.

• Bathurst
• Tottenham (Tottenham is at the centre of NSW)
• Maitland
• Dubbo

Bathurst Bathurst has many attractions for the tourist. It is rich in heritage, committed to education through Charles Sturt University-Mitchell and is well known to the car enthusiasts for the races around Mount Panorama.

Tottenham Central School	Tottenham (NSW) Tottenham is a small country town at the centre of NSW. It is situated approximately 90 km South of Nyngan. It is a quiet town, as there are no major roads nearby. This means people who come to Tottenham have a very good reason to do so. It's main source of income is farming, mostly wheat, sheep and cattle. However, some farmers closer to Trangie are diversifying to cotton. I arrived in Tottenham in 1993 to take up my first teaching appointment. I found the community a great place to live and it broadened my mind on how other people live outside the major centres.

I moved to Maitland in 1997 and taught at Maitland High School (formally known as Maitland Boys High School) for the year. I found the Maitland area an exciting place because of its locality.

Dubbo I moved to Dubbo at the start of 1998 and am currently teaching at Dubbo School of Distance Education. Studying a University degree through correspondence has given me a great insight into how the students at DSODE must find it difficult at times. I find DSODE an exciting place because of the innovative programs and the different ways the teachers can communicate with their students.
