Australian Junior
Tour
The 2005 Australian Jr. tour leaves for Europe
on the 16th June this year, travelling through
Central Europe for 28 days. We arrive in Zurich,
Switzerland before travelling to the 1972 man-made
Olympic course in Augsburg, Germany. After spending
some time there the team passes through Austria,
stopping in Otez for training and recreational
paddling, before heading on to Slovakia for
more training at Bratislava for a couple of
days. The next destination of the Junior tour
is the Czech Republic where we'll train at the
Prague venue before competing in a slalom event
at Ceske Budejovice, this being the only lead
up competition that the team will experience
before the pre world championships a week later.
After the race we move on to Solkan , Slovenia
for a week of training before competing in the
Junior Pre World Championships on the 9/10 July.
After the Pre-Worlds we move to Ljubljana the
capital of Slovenia to paddle at Tarcen. Finally
we will travel back to Zurich to fly home on
the 13th July.
