Australian Junior Tour
The 2005 Australian Jr. tour leaves for Europe on the 16th June this year, travelling through Central Europe for 28 days. We arrive in Zurich, Switzerland before travelling to the 1972 man-made Olympic course in Augsburg, Germany. After spending some time there the team passes through Austria, stopping in Otez for training and recreational paddling, before heading on to Slovakia for more training at Bratislava for a couple of days. The next destination of the Junior tour is the Czech Republic where we'll train at the Prague venue before competing in a slalom event at Ceske Budejovice, this being the only lead up competition that the team will experience before the pre world championships a week later. After the race we move on to Solkan , Slovenia for a week of training before competing in the Junior Pre World Championships on the 9/10 July. After the Pre-Worlds we move to Ljubljana the capital of Slovenia to paddle at Tarcen. Finally we will travel back to Zurich to fly home on the 13th July.
