Day 7 23/6/05

One week successfully completed without any major incidences, casualties or accidents. Today was supposedly a rest day, with the team going for an epic trip up the mountain on a gondola before starting the descent on mountain bikes, which was much safer than skiing. Followed by a refreshing swim in the Piburgersee lake.

Boat repairs commenced early this morning, 10 o'clock after a 9 o'clock breakfast. The once peaceful communal grassy area became littered with bits of boats, broken paddles and resin. The serenity of the place was soon destroyed and overrun by the roaring of grinders.
