Day 6, 22/6

Today was our first full day in the most picturesque place we've been so far - Oetz. It was a slow start to the morning with brekky finishing at ten. $#!^, Geoff's laptop almost got smashed by a flying football, but thanks to Tom's catlike reflexes everthing was ok, including Ros' face. Back to the day's story - The girls, Ros, Emmie and Farrah started the morning with a bike ride in their bikinis and australian flag boxers. Then groups of the team trekked for an hour up an extremely steep mountain to have a swim in a lovely lake (Piburgersee), the funny part was one group didn't even make it to the lake - they followed the wrong signs and got lost and another group left late and only had ten minute swim and still nearly missed out on lunch.

After lunch the vehicles were stacked full and we trundled to the Inn River and began an epic journey involving three metre high crashing wave chains and razor sharp rocks. This allowed for some hilarious rolling and various other amusing stunts from all parts of the team. Certain people began to hog the waves and this led to wave wars, luckily no-one was injured, only two paddles broke! On the home leg several idiots decided it would be a good idea to stand in their boats and fall in (remember this is glacial melt water) while others simply went swimming aka Roz. On the way home we stacked eight boats to a car, and lost them all when we were crashed into by a massive semi trailer!!! Five of the team are now in intensive care in Oetz hospital. Nah, just kidding, we thought you might be getting a bit bored with our tales of happy times and decided to add in some fictional excitement. HAHAHAHA. We have just had dinner and Tom & Roz are writing this wonderfully entertaining story while the rest of the team are chasing Tom's football down the river (thanks to Booga - the fool)

Signing out - peace be with yall, we're off to help rescue Tom's footy.
