This morning we woke up to the usual BANG BANG BANG on our doors. unusually early which didn't fit our program as we'd already had a late night after the race. Fortunately it was all for a good cause as we arrived in Lubjiana in time for plenty of paddling on the mighty Tacen course, made even harder due to it being in flood.. Everyone was entertained (or entertainment) throughout some point in the day. A main highlight was Ros who decided to test out just how deep the river is. After completing the first and hardest drop on the course she capsized and was sucked out of her boat, resulting in a snapped tail.

After lunch the river got bigger and we tested our paddles on the powerful water which had previously outdone Dave's slipstream (shitstream).

About 3 o'clock we started to pack all our gear and load boats on cars. Now to find our accommodation in Ljubljana. The Bit-Centre Motel, not bad for a on night hold up. There are only 14 of us know after Jacqui, Craig and Emmie left for Prague and the 22's tour this morning and Tim went to Venice with his parents. A quick shower and a drive into the centre of Ljubljana for a evening meal of pizza.

Another long day tomorrow with an early start, a drive to Zurich.
