Day 2 - 18/6
Due to jetlag, most people arose early this morning.
Those who didn't arrived to breaky late; the two dirty
Phils who obviously have a messed up body clock were
in that catagory. After a casual start to the morning
we had a 10.30 session doing laps around the middle
and far canal. Back to the shining member of the tour
[Robbie]: he thought he would test whether the German
efficiency and hospital protocol was true to its word.
Results from the docs were that it was a Bladder infection
and he wasn't to paddle for a couple of days.
After lunch we had an action packed technique session
with thrills and spills. Surges on the course resulted
in a few swims starting with Jack who pulled in Johhno's
boat with him. Locals tend to paddle before looking
[and thinking], they don't seem to realise that it
is for their own interest as slalom boats are quite
pointy. A fantastic dinner was spent at the local
Pizzeria. Seaguls swarmed around those who couldnt
finish their meals, but they were left empty when
Kate quite rudely completed here challenge to eat
all of her Calezonie. We arrived home late and everyone
went to bed promptly.
