HUGESHOES are bringing grooves to the stage, winding through the decades from the 50’s to the present day by artists including The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, CCR, John Cougar, The Traveling Wilburys, INXS, Matchbox 20, Steve Miller Band, Ben Harper and many more. Picking the best and sometimes forgotten songs and sounds of these times. Combining guitar, bass and drums their vibrancy is full and all consuming, bringing that intimate live show to suit every situation. With a repertoire of over 120 songs we have a club set, pub set and a country set to cater for all types of venues and crowds.

PLAYER BIO
John McFadyen (Lead guitar/vocals) who comes in to do the lead guitar and vocal duties, John has over 25 years experience playing locally and spent more than 10 years touring overseas in the USA, Canada and all over Asia. John has played from Las Vegas to Hong Kong to The Highlands of New Guinea and everywhere in between, John’s brand of blues rock influenced playing adds style to the sound of the shoes. Rob Barry (Drums/vocals). Since the early 1980’s Rob has been performing in original and cover bands, touring up and down the east coast of Australia and western New South Wales and Victoria. A country boy originally from Cooma New South Wales, Rob now lives and performs in Newcastle and writes original Country-Rock songs straight from the heart. The new CD entitled "DAIRYVILLE ROAD" has been in the making for around 6 months and Rob's passion as a songwriter shines through on his debut album.
Mick Seigers (Bass/ Vocals) Mick has played in the Maitland City Brass Band and has most recently teamed up with Rob Cass and The Cosmic Cowboys, The band has a regular gig each year at the Central Tavern Tamworth for the festival. Having played bass in various cover bands in and around Newcastle, Some of these are The Phantoms, Mental Health, Vicious Cycle, Schooner Head, Special Forces and most recently The Time Band
