We have travelled to quite a lot of cities and towns throughout the State doing Rodeos, Festivals to Pubs, clubs and Parties. We have played the last 4 Tamworth festivals and this year will be heading to The Gympie Muster for the first time.

The bands two CD's "DAIRYVILLE ROAD"  features 12 original songs about life as an Australian in our great land and "DISTANT ROAD" is a 6 song EP. Both are available now  online on the CD page.

Johnno has been a professional musician for over 18 years and has returned to Newcastle after 10 years touring the world extensively, playing in many 5 star resorts, casinos and festivals in the USA, Canada and all over Asia. Playing such gigs as the prestigious Calgary Stampede and Canada's biggest country music festival The Merritt Mountain Music Festival where he worked with such country legends as Alan Jackson and Keith Urban. John has also played casinos and clubs in the legendary cities of Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe in the USA.

Johns country music song writing goes back a long way and in 1999 he won the TSA National Songwriting Contest with "Boys will be boys". The song features on the TSA Country Songsearch CD 1998.

DON SOPER
BASS GUITAR / VOCALS

Donny AKA "The Rocker" joining the band in 2007, Donny has rapidly become a well liked & respected member of the Cosmic Cowboys. Known for his rock solid bass playing and dynamic stage presence, he adds spark & oomph to the already rocking band.
Don has been playing guitar and bass for over 25 years, his vast experience in live playing, teaching and recording. Don has had a successful teaching business in Newcastle for many years and has taught many of Newcastles finest guitarist.
Donnie's stage presence is all about enjoying the music and the moment, which shows the audience a great time.
Don is now enjoying working with the wonderful talents of Rob and Johnno taking Cowboys into Space!

ROB BENNIC / DRUMS 

Rob has been playing drums for over 20 years and has played with such acts as Col Finley, Sally Anne Whitten to name a few. Rob has vast experience playing all styles of music over the years, he has toured all over most of the country and his powerful drumming has been compared to the best around. Robs personality also comes through in his playing and the rhythm section of Big Rob and Donny keep the old engine room running.

PAT WILD / KEYBOARDS

Pat is the newest member of the Cosmic Cowboys and has made quite an impression since joining the boys last year. Pats broken foot and pink cast was a highlight of the 2008 Tamworth festival, but apart from that he plays a mean keyboard and knows how to tickle the ivories with the best. Whether its Mozart or Jerry Lee Lewis, Pats piano skills and energetic performance make a Cosmic Cowboys gig a must see.
