Working principles:
Load cells work like calibrated springs and can be used for measuring forces or for weighing systems.
A force is applied and there is a flexion: there is a Wheatstone bridge with strain gauges that measure this mechanical flexion thence giving a proportional electrical signal.
DS Europe can also manufacture load cells with built-in CE marked electronics with analog or digital outputs.
All load cells with non amplified output 2mV/V have a built in calibration circuitry that electrically simulates a known value of force shown in a certificate ( making It easy and quick to calibrate with the external electronics getting the signal ).

Pressure transducers and pressure switches (strain gauge)
Working principle :
The diaphragm in the stainless steel pressure gate flexes under the applied pressure of the fluid.
The metal strain is measured by a strain gauge bridge that gives an electrcal signal proportional to the fluid pressure.

These transducers measure, by means of strain gauge technology, the radial force vector that a web (of paper, textile, rubber, metal etc) applies to a measuring roll. A wide selection of torque sensors and transducers for the measurement of rotary and static torque from 0-0.1Nm to 0-200kNm.

Panel meter/Signal conditioner
