CONCRETE TESTING

Marui Triple-HI Kenma Semi Automatic Concrete Testing Cylinder Grinder

Marui Triple-HI Kenma
The Marui Triple-HI Kenma Semi Automatic Concrete Test Cylinder Grinder Machine is quickly becoming the chosen alternative to the traditional rubber or sulphur capping method used by Quality Construction Labs throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Not only is it a safer and healthier option, it also provides a better result in surface finish as well as flatness (within +- 0.05mm).

Semi Automatic Concrete Test Cylinder Grinder Machine Features :
  • The Marui Grinder can comfortably process Low or High strength concrete with 2 only parameter setting
  • The ingenious diamond impregnated grinding discs incorporating an integrated rinsing function provides the operator with an output of over 50,000 25Mpa cylinders per disc
  • With a feed rate of 1mm per minute on 25 Mpa Concrete Test Cylinder, an output of 45 units / hour is achievable
  • Marui standard tooling allow for test cylinder diameter of 50,100,125 and 150mm
  • Optional extra is precision manufactured Stainless Steel Sedimentary tank with filtered recirculation pumped system  to conform with most local environmental pollution authority.

Hylec Concrete Cylinder Measuring Station

Hylec Controls - Hylec’s Measuring Station is designed to measure the dimensions of concrete samples 100mm x 200mm long in accordance with the AS/NZ Standards AS1012-8.

Technical Features
  • Edge Measurement minimises errors due to craters in the sample
    surface.
  • The station is fitted with the  weigh feature which eliminates the need for a platform scale, and allows all3 dimensions and weight to be transmitted to a LIMS or PC system via one RS485 data stream.
  • Flatness and squareness measurements of the end faces is
    also available as an option
  • Dimensions are indicated and transmitted to a PC or LIMS in mm.
Since the Station is a fully selfcontained
measuring system, itmay be used for manual
    measurement, should a computer
    connection not be available.
  • A manual calibration facility is provided to compensate for any
    wear of mechanical supports.
  • A test reference cylinder is installed in the machine and a button is pressed forcalibration. All calibration is thus
done directly on the Measuring Station independently of the PC or
    LIMS.
  • The sample is mounted upside down on a hardened centre button
and rests at an angle against several hardened side supports, to
ensure correct positioning of thesample and ergonomic working
    location for the operator.
  • Height is thus measured at the bottom of the meniscus of the
“rough end”, while diameters aremeasured at right angles to one
another at the mid-height of the sample, as required by AS1012-8.
  • Concrete Test Cylinder Measurement accuracy
    is 0.1%

Hylec Concrete Cylinder Measuring Station

Hylec Concrete Cylinder Measuring Station

The Measuring Station has many features including:

  •  3 through-beam edge detecting optical measuring systems
  •  A separate display unit with 3 digital displays in mm, two for diameter at right angles, and one for height.
  • On the Station , there is a 4th digital display showing the mass, as this Station is fitted with the load cell option.
  •  An RS232 or RS485 signal is provided for transmission of ASCII data in mm to a PC.
  • A robust design insures reliable operation in all busy concrete laboratory environment.
  • The edge measuring system includes a laser
transmitter and CCD receiver, is totally digital
    and measurement is independent of
temperature, surface texture, colour of sample
    or dirt on lenses.
