KEY TO BATCHING PROGRAMMES

THE AMOUNTS OF CEMENT AND WATER TO MIX

To get grout of a required water:cement ratio it is necessary to take account of the grout already in lines and machinery, unless they are empty, of course. This is the key to programmes which calculate the requisite quantities to mix. To use it you indicate the units you are working in and how cement is supplied:

Traditional units ( i.e.: pounds, cubic feet)
       Bulk cement
       94 pound bags of cement
       47 pound bags of cement
Metric units ( i.e: kg, litres)
       Bulk cement
       50 kg bags of cement
       40 kg bags of cement
       25 kg bags of cement
       20 kg bags of cement
