The HIE Impact Test Laboratory caters for a range of testing requirements in research, standards development, litigation support, and product or component evaluation.

HIE conducts body protector approval and surveillance testing for the Australian Harness Racing Council to the EN13158/BETA (2000) Standard. We also test to ARB Standard Issue 1 (1998), SATRA M6 (1999), and ASTM F1937 (2004) for product research and development purposes.
