Designed (inc. TNA) and presented customised IT course to Embassy staff, covered Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, and Email.

Designed (inc. TNA) and constructed online, interactive, course of 6 lessons introducing perimeters and areas to high school students. ·                April 2010 – Access Course - Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC)

Teach Microsoft Access at both Basic and Intermediate level to staff.
I custom designed the 2 day course.

·                2010 – Evening Excel and Computers for Beginners Courses

Teach Excel and basic computing skills to the public – offered each semester.
I custom designed the courses and adjust them to fit all the clients.
March/April - 2010 - South African Embassy – Design and Run DHTML, Web Design Course – Enable staff to update the South African Embassy Web site easily.

·                June - Aug - 2008  - South African Embassy.- Design & run Introduction to Windows Course – basic & Intermediate - including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access databases.

·                June - July 2008 – Canberra Furnished Accommodation Design & run short course – Teach Word, Excel/update I.T. skills to staff at.

·                Regular Contract Training - Regularly teach ‘Introduction to the Computer’, and ‘Introduction to Excel’ to the public. Design and run custom courses, such as Advanced Excel functions, Databases, and generation of mailing lists. For example, how to set up an Excel database of names, addresses and other information, and integrate it with MS Word Mail Merge abilities.

·                Digital Divide Project  3 year contract with the ACT Government (through CIT) to teach basic computing skills and use of the Internet to the general public – the idea was to teach the public such skills to enable them to use government online facilities. Each Trainer was given a schedule, and we taught at various libraries and other locations around Canberra.

Added data table, forms and reports  to enable database to update and track asset number and related information of the many exhibits.

Aug 2009 - Automated Task Register Creation. 

Microsoft Access. Create Automated Regular Task, Register Generator that creates regularly scheduled tasks automatically in a timely manner to ensure routine tasks are completed and tracked with minimal administration overhead.
Administrator inputs a list of regular maintenance tasks through a User friendly form, and the database application automatically generates task records (known as ‘Pinkies’) either daily, weekly, monthly, or as required to enable staff to easily track their regular maintenance tasks. Design and code allows for future extensions into other time periods.

·                Exhibition Documentation  Project - Dec 2009 – Mar 2010   

Revise exhibition documentation, including adding links to a central Excel sheet to simplify and speed up updates.

Create documentation for ‘Water’ and ‘H2O’ exhibitions.

Revise documentation for Perception Exhibition. Made extensive use of links to a   central Excel sheet to simplify and speed up updates.

Develop, using Macromedia Director, (including extensive Lingo coding), a number of the interactive hands on - ‘Water’ exhibit.
