Take a look at us - we're Yesterday's Heroes!
Welcome the home of the women's hockey team,
Yesterday's Heroes, based in Melbourne, Australia.
Formed originally for the 2002 World Masters Games held
in Melbourne, Australia, Yesterday's Heroes has since played
continuously in the local veterans' competitions, and competed in the
Australian Master Games in Canberra in 2003 (earning bronze) and in Adelaide in 2005
and then again in 2007 (earning a silver medal each time).
Now the team is preparing for the next
World Masters Games, to
be held in Sydney, Australia on 10-18 October 2009.
