This is a fully developed Australian engineered and built high performance new product. Follow the rules of use on the polypropylene danger tag captive on the red cable to reduce risk.

Cobra Cables were engineered to start the new Cobra generators where they have to carry the full starter motor current, so Cobra Cables have proved excellent for general automotive use. All components are made in Australia except for the modern heat-shrink clamp insulation, which provides excellent water resistance.

The 25 mm ² cable is very flexible for its size because it consists of hundreds of very thin strands of copper. Good flexible cable has a natural 'twist' or 'lay', so when coiling it up let it take its natural shape. Take care when uncoiling so that it does not kink. There's a slice of the cable here so you can see what is inside.

Cobra Clamps are solid brass designed and built for jump-starting - they spring like steel and carry the current of brass. Because of their simple symmetry, current is automatically shared equally between legs. There are no pivots, hinges, steel springs or conducting straps. All movement is accommodated within the elastic limit of the brass. The resistance to current is so low that Cobra Cables out-perform many jumper cables with heavier cable. An extensive search has found no other clamps comparable to Cobra Clamps. Design registered.

All metal parts are properly engineered in brass and copper, so Cobra Cables will not only start a car with a sick battery like most jumper cables, they will start a vehicle with " a completely flat battery ! " If you only have a sick battery, you may even get away without the help of a passing car by paralleling up your heavy current circuits with Cobra Cables.

Cobra Cables will comfortably carry 800 Amps for 10 seconds - that's more than most starters need and greater than most batteries can supply! That's performance!
The design life is 50 years when used by the average motorist.
