As stated earlier, everyone was a winner, and we had another hangover to get over, but what a pleasant way to get one, thank you for all the efforts. The standard of the drops was high with a diverse range of brewing styles being utilised. One of the most interesting was Max Beatson with his top fermented Barley Grain Lager. One of the judges became wistful as memories of his drunken youth returned midst the haze of imbibing. Another crowd pleaser was the Mead of Greg Anderson; a sweet and cheeky little number for those quiet times around the fire with good friends. There were too many entries to mention everyone, but Liina's little ginger fetish certainly got the crowd up and bopping, another success. Aimee must get a mention for her provocative little Cider, and no, it didn't explode, except, onto the stage of the Biennial NEMAS brewing comp. Last but not least Rowdy and Jason, what can we say? For another year you have fought your way through to finals of this great event. That Son of Filth certainly was aptly named. It was noted that members of the judging panel and crowd wished to contact you later regarding cellar work for the upcoming July get together, well done son. So for another Easter its Hrodgar and all his mates wishing
you well and thanking you for helping make the Gathering
what it is. WASSAIL ..Hodgar
