If you are caring for any native Australian animals you should try to learn what the proper
diet and care requirements are.
Many people go to their local vet who specialises in pets ( dogs , cats ) and farm animals.
Unless they have undergone extra training , they may not be familiar with the native species.
Most of our fauna have different requirements and the young require special treatment
and should be provided with the correct milk replacers.
Unfurred animals have to be kept at the right temperature and different species require
different temperatures.
