A collection of links that I have occasionally found useful.

While you are here, you can also download SORTER5B.ZIP, my sorting program for recipes in the format for Meal-Master recipe database, by Scott Welliver.

I wrote it because Rodney Grantham's MMSORT recipe sorting utility was not working exactly the way I wanted. This is not to say that MMSORT is a bad or faulty utility -- quite the reverse. It is excellent and works very reliably in its own way, which didn't happen to be my way. Check out MMSORT for yourself, and his other utilities in the same package... maybe they are just what you want ;-)

But if you do use my sorter I'd love to hear your opinions -- how does it work for you, how could it be improved, and so on. Drop me a line.

My home town is Adelaide, South Australia at the lower middle of this map

Being now retired, I work on a volunteer basis as a steam train driver, track builder, and machine operator, among a myriad of other duties at the National Railway Museum, at Port Adelaide.

By the way, did you know that South Australia is absolutely unique in that it still has three separate main line gauges? And in some "break of gauge" towns they were combined into the one track!

YIKES! This will give you some idea of the problems.

You can still see triple gauge trackwork at the National Railway Museum, nowadays the only such track existing anywhere in the world.

My other interests include performing with the South Australian Light Opera Society (amateur, and chorus only),

Many thanks to Chris Drymalik for allowing me to use some of his National Railway Museum photos on this site.
