The club is pleased to announce new major sponsor Blakeview Pharmacy who has come on board to assist us in our goal of creating a supportive community cricket club.

Situated on Main North Road at Blakeview, just down from the Curtis Rd Intersection, pharmacist/owner Irfan Hashmi and his staff are big cricket fans who want to give back to the community. They provide superior service to customers whether filling prescriptions, offering advice or suggesting the best sports injury products to soothe tired muscles. They offer great discounts when you join their loyalty program, with up to 20% off! As well as free delivery for the elderly. This is a local business that is offering real customer service.

The club is excited about building strong relationships with local businesses and look forward to their involvement.

FROM THE MESSENGER

You Little Ripper

Craigmore Cricket Club's Lachlan Corbin on the front page of the local messenger! This kid is Blues through and through.

Congratulations to U14's player Lachlan Corbin who achieved something very special in cricket on the weekend.
In the game against a combined Penfield/Dublin team, he accomplished a hat trick, plus 5 wickets in an innings. All within 7 balls! Great effort Lachy.. All without surrendering a run.
His final figures 5/0!

Head to India

Former Craigmore Cricket Club junior player Travis Head has been rewarded for his efforts in the 2010/11 Under 17 National Championship by being named in a 14 man Australian U19 squad to tour India in late September 2011.

Commenting on the squad, National Talent Manager Greg Chappell said: “The youths election panel has made a number of changes to the squad that played matches against the West Indies in Dubai in April as some who were not there are now available for selection.

Howe's that!

Craigmore’s Rob Howe recently brought up his 200th game - a fine effort in itself. But it is his sustained performance over the journey that makes him one of the legends of the Para Districts competition.
Howe has played almost his entire career in A Grade and has averaged 40 with the bat, amassing nearly 7500 runs.
He has also managed 320 wickets at 15. He has twice won the McKenzie Medal for the best player in PDCA’s A Grade.
