Breakout board for a Waveblaster based MIDI Synthesizer
This uses a Maxim MAX743 to derive the +/- 12 volt power supply required
This circuit is designed to mount a Waveblaster type MIDI synthesizer in an external box, as opposed to mounting it on a old style ISA Sound Blaster sound card, which is now obsolete and no longer able to be used with a modern computer. With this I can now use the old synthesizers on a modern PC.
