folksKJ, the Karaoke Jockey, is a freeware MIDI Karaoke player with following features:

Standard MIDI Karaoke features: Plays KAR and standard MIDI files. Allows changing key and tempo. Background images. Special features: Running multiple lyric screens via LAN. Mute melody with automatic melody detection for KAR and MIDI files. Customized photo albums for background images. Display time stamp of digital photos (Exif information). Use song number input, easy use with remote control. Able to display unicode lyricis, i.e. playing Chinese, Vietnamese songs without decoder software. Able to display lyrics from right to left. Karakan unicode songs compatible. Requirements: Windows XP/7 No installation required. Permission to store registry data. Network access (to allow running multiple screens via LAN).

	Due to its special slide show feature for digital photos, folksKJ was chosen to be listed in the monthly CD-ROM of the German photography magazine FOTO-VIDEO DIGITAL 3/2004.
