On August 16th 2009 we set off for the Mildura Masters Games. We started with a visit to Paika Station near Balranald and then on to the Homebush Hotel for lunch. In the following two days we checked out the Gem Shop and Aladdin’s Cave, next on to the Coomealla Club for lunch and then to the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers at Wentworth.

Next day we experienced going through Lock 11 on the Murray River on board the “Rothbury”, followed by a visit to an Olive Grove and then in the afternoon to the Botanic Gardens at Buronga.

For the next 2½ days we played Lifeball with 17 of our members participating. Although the game of Lifeball is non competitive we were all presented with gold medals.
